In my work, I try to communicate a sublime reality.

I am interested in infinite space, the space between the visible material forms of concrete reality. the line element is immaterial, it has no existence as a concrete entity.

I use the line. the finely diluted colour becomes almost translucent. by applying it across the horizontal line, it flows down the canvas, creating its own line in the vertical direction. I am interested in the state of equilibrium, the balance between the opposing forces of horizontal stillness and the lively vertical line.

the dissolution of painting, therefore, the dissolution of form in the physical sense: it is how the idea of one form dissolving into another combination of form of thinking.

there is no one part more important than another, the focus is on the whole piece; as awareness moves to different parts, attention is equally distributed.

I like to see my canvases as openings to a new space: uninhabited, empty, calm, peaceful, and at the same time overflowing with joy – a quiet joy.
